Hailed as one of the most vibrant and engaging quartets of its generation, the Griffon String Quartet is Midsummer Music’s resident ensemble. The quartet enriches the lives of children and adults throughout northeast Wisconsin through concerts, workshops and music education. Members include violin- ists Roy Meyer and Alex Norris, violist Willie McLellan, and cellist Jesse Nummelin, extraordinary musicians who have performed in the finest halls around the globe and have won prestigious music competitions and awards. Each member has advanced degrees and professional performance and education experience. They are dedicated to inspiring the next generation of music lovers. |
