Gemma Bornick |
Gemma began playing musical instruments with piano lessons at age 6. After several years of this, she cycled through the violin and, briefly, the electric guitar before settling comfortably into vocal music, singing in choirs throughout high school and college. She took a hiatus from formal music performance during medical school at Duke University and her residency in Emergency Medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill. Now medical director of Aurora BayCare's Emergency Department, Gemma is thrilled to again find an outlet for her love of choral music.
