Chris grew up in Columbus, Ind., listening to his mom's classical LPs, and started playing violin at age 11. Although he decided to pursue pre-med studies, the violin has remained an integral part of his life ever since. During medical school and Internal Medicine residency in Indianapolis, he played with the Butler University Symphony and at church. Since moving to Green Bay in 2006, he has played 1st violin in the Civic Symphony of Green Bay, participated in Music for the Sake of Music, at UWGB performances of the Messiah and the Weidner 25th anniversary concert, as well as becoming a member of the recently formed Weidner Philharmonic. He transitioned back to outpatient medicine after 12 years as a hospitalist and is now a primary care internist at Prevea St. Mary's.
